MEET THE FIRM

Our firm was founded in 1994. All of our attorneys are licensed in the State of Texas, holders of concealed handgun licenses, ardent defenders of the Constitution and all citizen's legal right to keep and bear arms. We are pleased to introduce our founding members and owners of our law firm, Walker, Rice & Wisdom, P.C.

Michael D. Wisdom. Michael brings a broad range of experience to the practice of law, having worked for General Motors, Monsanto, and Ford Motor Company where he was a vice president. Michael has a BS in Industrial Administration from Kettering University, an MBA from Lindenwood College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. He worked in the Public Integrity division of the Harris County District Attorney's office before joining the Firm in 1996.  Michael is the Firm's President and represents a diverse portfolio of clients in the firearms and shooting industry. T. Edwin Walker. Edwin is a native Texan who earned his bachelor and law degrees at the University of Houston. He has been practicing law in the State of Texas since 1994 with an emphasis on criminal defense. Edwin is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and the Harris County Defense Lawyers Association.  Edwin is a frequent speaker on use of force and heads up the Firm's National Firearms Act Program for legal ownership of machine guns, suppressors, and short barreled weapons. Darren R. Rice. Graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1992. He is a life member of the National Rifle Association and a federal firearms licensed dealer and a class III tax stamp holder, and a collector of firearms. His email address is rice@texaslawshield.com

David Donchecz. David has been a local business owner in the Houston area for the past 24 years. He was the President of the third-largest boat dealership in Houston. After selling that business, he became the Chief Operating Officer of Sunsation Products of Michigan. David is a graduate of the University of Maine with a major in psychology and a minor in business. He brings a strong business background to the Firm.
